Royal Copenhagen 1775 Cologne Review

We usually rate older perfumes higher than new ones. That’s because old perfumes have withstood the test of time. Generations of men (and/or women) have tried on these fragrances and approved them. People kept buying these fragrances so they must be great. That doesn’t mean we should rule out newer colognes altogether. Even the oldest cologne was new someday. Here we have one of these new colognes in 1775 Classic for Men by Royal Copenhagen. This wasn’t launched in 1775 obviously, but in 2014. It’s over 3 years old now so not too new, and has been a hit on the market.

The 1775 Classic Cologne for Men by Royal Copenhagen is a citrusy fragrance. It has a variety of notes. It has nine notes to be exact and they are: mandarin, bergamot, rosemary, lime, lavender, musk, amber, sage, and cypress. These combine for a fresh aroma. The mandarin and bergamot are mainly citrus-based notes which will keep you fresh as long as you have this on. The lavender will give you a clean scent that’ll make you feel like all is well with the world. The musk and amber are a bit darker and deeper making it masculine. This is a great fragrance for most occasions. You could wear this to work, to the market, to the movies, or on an outing with friends. You’re bound to receive compliments from people while having this on. There’s no doubt the 1775 Classic Cologne for Men by Royal Copenhagen will have an uplifting effect on your mood as well. Instead of feeling down and exhausted the citrusy notes will keep you fresh. Instead of feeling unclean like it was a long day the lavender will keep you clean. The darker notes present here will make you feel confident and masculine. You’ll be ready for whatever comes your way which will definitely make you more attractive with the ladies.

The bottle’s design is pretty elegant as it has the logo of a silver line on the front. The bottle itself is square shaped and the background behind the lion is divided diagonally into silver and blue triangles. At about 70 dollars this is a bit expensive, but it’s new and refreshing and will probably be a great addition to your collection.
