Individuel by Mont Blanc is an Oriental Woody fragrance for men. Individuel was launched in 2003. The nose behind this fragrance is Pierre Bourdon.
Top notes are rosemary, pineapple, coriander, cinnamon, lavender, juniper berries, mint, bergamot and cardamom; middle notes are orange blossom, violet, jasmine and geranium; base notes are sandalwood, amber, patchouli, musk, raspberry, vanilla, dark chocolate, oak moss and vetiver.
Though Mont Blancs is famous for their pens but their fragrance’s is also very good. And among them for me Individuel is the best. The presentation of Individuel is very classy with a bluish bottle with little curve on the edge.
Where to wear
It can be worn casually, at both day or night. Anyone would appreciate the aroma without knowing how you have managed to collect this with such a low price.
This is a very beautiful fragrance with a wonderful blend age. Its spicy and sweet. It has a feeling of dark chocolate. This staff has so much more life in it. It’s a very strong and masculine.
This scent has three main pillars which are “floral citrus” pillar containing notes such as orange blossom and jasmine; “sharp cool” pillar containing notes such as mint and juniper berries; and a base note built around “amber-sandalwood-chocolate”. Of course there are several other notes in the structure (violet and vetiver) but they aren’t main players and just support the whole composition.
It opens in a very loud but pleasant and somewhat classy way. Honestly this is the best part of it. After a while it dries down to somewhat similar to Joop Homme.
Price wise it is a very good scent also. Because it will save a lot of money for you. Not saying cheap but saving money for a product like Individuel is very much appreciable. One shouldn’t cost more than 30-40 bucks for a 2.5 ounce bottle.
At last, as longevity wise, sillage wise or aroma wise it is a highly recommended fragrance.
