Bleu de Chanel is one of Chanel’s top selling perfumes worldwide. It was released in 2010 and has been an absolute hit ever since. According to Chanel it is dedicated to freedom that is endless and boundless. It all seems so appealing. The bottle is simple and square shaped but looks ever so elegant thanks to its elegant navy blue color. In fact the simple design is one of the reasons behind its elegance.
Apart from the bottle, the perfume itself is definitely elegant and combines more than one wonderful scent. It combines 13 notes including pink peppercorn, peppermint, citrus, nutmeg, sandalwood, and many more. You’ll notice that some of the notes are commonly present in other fragrances while others are unique to Bleu de Chanel. It’s also evident that this combination of notes hasn’t been done before by anyone else.
This cologne won’t really make you stand out as it doesn’t have that wow factor, but it’s simple and efficient. It smells good and elegant so it basically does its job without much fuss. It’s also been known to not last very long and become a skin scent after a couple of hours. It’s still a great gift for your spouse or boyfriend who will certainly appreciate having this kind of fragrance in their collection. It will also be a lovely edition if they don’t have a Chanel in that collection and were looking to add to it. It is a little pricey though costing about 100 dollars. Like we said, when you buy Chanel, its high quality products you can’t expect them to come cheap.
